SoulBoy actress Felicity Jones picks up top acting prize at the Sundance Film Festival

SoulBoy actress Felicity Jones was awarded the prestigious special jury prize in the U.S. Dramatic Competiton at this years Sundance Film Festival for her new film Like Crazy.

Juror America Ferrara of Ugly Betty fame presented the Special Jury Prizes for Dramatic film.

Ferrera said Jones' performance "reminds us of why we fall in love in the first place. If you don’t know her name, you will soon,”

Like Crazy directed by Drake Doremus and starring Felicity Jones and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Termator Salvation) is the story of Jacob, an American, and Anna, who is British. They meet at college in Los Angeles and fall madly in love. When Anna returns to London, the couple is forced into a long-distance relationship. Their perfect love is tested as youth, trust, and geography become their biggest enemies.

Along with Felicity Jones' best acting award the film pciked up the Grand Jury Prize for best film and a $4 million US distribution deal with Paramount making the film the 'it' film of Sundace 2011.

You can also catch Felicty on a cinema screen near you this March with the release of British Rom-Com Chalet Girl. The film has an all star cast including Ed Westwick, Tamsin Egerton, Bill Bailey, Brooke Shields and Bill Nighy and is set for release across the UK on the 16th of March.
