Back in November SoulBoy played at the 49th Gijon International Film Festival. The audience awarded SoulBoy the Enfants Terible prize for best feature film for those over 13 years. It was a gret a honour to be awarded a prize at this festival but most especially that it was awarded by the audience members!
After a successful tour of top Eurpean festivals including Edinburgh, Turin, Dinard and Gijon SoulBoy is now off to its first festival in the USA.
In March SoulBoy shall screen on the closing day of The Craic Festival in New York.
Founded in 1998 as a nonprofit organization, the Fleadh Foundation has designed and produced The CRAIC Festival, annually presenting cinema and music that has a celtic connection to the New York City and tri-state region. The Film Fleadh, in its eleventh year, presents Irish films, while the CRAIC Music Series focuses on bringing over emerging musical acts, as well as featuring American bands that have Celtic roots Ireland, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Wales etc.
The listings page shall be updated soon with details of the time, date and location of this SoulBoy screening.
